21 Day Sugar Detox, Day 15: Can’t talk. Coconut.

I have so little to say, I actually tried to trick Simon into guest blogging this post.

No dice.

So instead of boring you with things I don’t have to say, let’s have some humor instead, shall we?

When Someone Offers Me Quinoa.

That should be an actual video instead of the link, but I’m done trying to figure it out. While you’re at it, browse the whole site. It always makes me laugh.

Here’s my day in food pics. I had no idea I had such a colorful food day until I looked at these!

Tuna Salad made with Homemade Mayonnaise, lots of veggies, Meyer lemon & olive oil

Fallon Hills Pork and Broccoli Stir-Fry | coconut aminos, garlic, Red Boat fish sauce, hot sauce, sesame seeds

Not bad, eh? I also had some snacks; pistachios and macadamias, and lots of tea. Also, a baby coconut, possibly more than 8 ounces, but it didn’t have a label ;)

Day 15 already! Holiday party time is upon us for sure. I know I’m glad that I’ll be able to enjoy the occasional treat without feeling like I NEED them at every moment. How about you?

  1. I finally made the crackers yesterday – they’re great! I’m so happy to have another thing to snack on quickly. The soup looks really good, too, but we’re not in soup-eating weather down here at the moment. Hot and humid, it is!! I wonder if it would be good as a cold soup; my aunt used to make a cold cucumber soup that was tasty…..Off to check the bacon in the oven!

    • I’m so glad you like them! I’m not sure if broccoli soup would be good cold… it’s pretty thick. Cold cucumber soup, though, is delicious.
