Chef and owner Simone Shifnadel hails from a long line of foodies. She has been cooking for as long as she can remember, and cooking professionally for well over a decade. Originally from the East Coast, she has made San Francisco her home. She absolutely loves the area and all that it has to offer, especially the wealth of local and organic produce. The food Simone creates is made with as many local, organic, and seasonal items as possible.
Her cooking style is good, old-fashioned home cooking, paired with an intuitive sense of creativity and playfulness. She loves the challenge of cooking for people with dietary limitations. That is when she really must be creative and often makes the most amazing discoveries in the process. Flavor is king in Simone's kitchen. Never does healthy equal bland, or gourmet equal unapproachable.
Simone is a graduate of Bauman College, and is a Nutrition Educator.
